What a wicked song and take on the classic song "take a look at my girlfriend"!
What a cool note to post a new blog...a few things to update my avid blog fans..
1. My Biggest Challenge is not progressing as I would like...i.e. I need to get my bike fixed, but on the positive, I have registered and now have the distances;
I must ride 15 miles around Coniston Water, then canoe relay 800m, then a 14 mile hike up Old Man Coniston...
2. I am being interviewed to open a new shop for my company. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bristol, it is undergoig a major renovation in the old merchant's quarter, which will become a large retail area...the new Broadmead.
The new shop will be on the cusp of the new development and would be a large and important step in my career were I to be given the chance to open it! The interview is on Monday the 28th, so wish me luck...
3. I officially have the most amazing man as my partner in crime, he is loving and sweet and funny and witty and intelligent and puts up with my PMS, including crying in the centre of the city for no reason the other night and my insitency on Pizza Slut for dinner...Ooo Greasy!
This week celebrates our 5th month anniversary (you know us girls count in days and hours too, huh?!) so I am going to plan a surprise, but I can't tell you lot what it is as he will read this blog to and it's a secret (Shhhh....)
So all in all am doing well, enjoyed my 2 weeks off from work and am off tut Gym this avo as I must must must try and crack the bike ride at least...oh and if you live in bristol and wanna come out on a slow ride or walk around the Cotswolds, then please get in touch!
Apart from that nowt is new...but keep me updated on you too, as I read blogs and am subscribed to any I find funny and/or interesting and/or inspiring...
